First of all thank you for these videos.

But at the same time I am asking myself, why the SCDS1 is technically soooo great. (great features, and they work pretty well) and at the same time they ruin much of the experience by clipping off important info, and using a huge font for the guide.

cheats display is WORST of all flashcarts.
"Press SELECT to" .... hmmm .... what does this cheat do ;-PP

For a much superior RTG implementation, take a look at the cyclo.
no need to convert the text file, it fits 40 chars vertically, and you can scroll vertically if it is needed for example for ASCII images.

I *really* hope that they will remedy these points quickly.
But then again they seem not to read the forum.
SC Tech replies me, and was very friendly, but at the same time there was virtually no commitment. (we will look into it ...)

The sad thing is, that some things (eg. short filename saves) have been reported many, many, many times, and they still did not implemented a fix.

anyways I like my SCDS1.
if it would have usable cheats and realtime guide, I would love it even more.
And with an in-game guide it would be eveb able to compete with the cyclo again.
And no more l+r+a+b+down+select+help buttons to remember, just one simple l+r+a+b (or whatever) for the in-game menu ;)
