Important Tips: This update 4.4.0-10x detect save chip (view here: http://forum.supercard.sc/viewthread.php?tid=10798&extra=page%3D1) , fortunately someone found out a demo game without save chip, otherwise, almost all flash card without built-in CPU will be blocked. Guess 3DS will block this demo game in the next update, if can not find out another demo game can be patched, that there is no solution at all.

So, we remind our user, don’t upgrade your console unnecessary, it’s harder and harder for DSONEi to break 3DS firmware, maybe next time we have no idea. So, go to SC forum to check before upgrade the console.

How to use:
Way 1:Upgrade with the DSONEi Firmware WriterRecommended

* updatecn.bin is Chinese Version, updateen.bin is English Version.

Tips: If upgrade fail, please repeat step 1 and step 2

(Possible reasons fail to upgrade)

1: Download the wrong version firmware file, such as English version DSONEi can not be upgraded by Chinese version firmware file. Please download the correct one.
2:Put the upgrade file “updateen.bin” into sub directory, not the root directory, firmware writer can not detect the upgrade file.
3: USB port can not provide a stable power, please change a stable USB port.
4:Firmware writer broken or DSONEi broken
5:too many disk defragments in the  MicroSD,so format it before upgrade

----------------------------------------------------

Way 2:
Run the upgrade program file(e.g: dsonei_update_eng.nds) with a NDS console and a flashcart which can run homebrew, then pull out the flashcart and inject DSONEi(DSONEi Mini) and follow the guide to finish upgrading.

Nice guide with images, if you want you should add this steps to the guide, it's what i usually post as answer:
If you need to install the firmware, the steps are as follows:
1) Download firmware to your computer
Supercard DS ONEi Firmware 1.1: http://eng.supercard.sc/download/DSonei_Fireware_v1.1_eng.zip
2) Extract updateen.bin file to the root folder of a microSD card
3) Plug this microSD card into SuperCard DS ONEi cartridge
4) Plug the SuperCard DS ONEi cartridge into firmware writer/updater
5) Plug the firmware writer/updater on a USB port
6) Do NOT interrupt when the firmware writer light is flashing. Wait for about 5-10 minutes until the light turns green.
7) DONE! Now you can start loading the system files

It's just a graphical guide to show how to update the DS One i card so the new users can update it without a lot of problems.

Not with the firmware writer, but you can rip games and saves if you have a regular DS/DSL and a slot 2 SuperCard

Firmware writer does not work with a Lexar 16GB Class 2 Micro.  Light stays red.

I eventually got the firmware on the card using a 2GB Duracell Micro.

Thought I had a dead card or bad writer.

For upgrade firmware, I've understand that big cards are not good. So it would be what happen to you :
the 16Go doesn't upgrade, but the 2Go yes..
Verify your µSD before get it over!!!
