Games are lagging on SDHC card for DS One

Hello,
I have had my SuperCard for quite a long time and I've always used normal 2GB SD Card. There was particularly no bugs or errors.

I've bought 4GB SDHC recently and I copied everything I had on my previous SD card to the root of the new one. Of course, I upgraded the OS for the SDHC.

Although most games run fine, there are some (like Animal Crossing Wild World) which lags. Also, I've noticed that loadings are longer. I have chosen auto SD speed and it is 5x. I don't know what's the problem.

Thank You for help.

I have chosen auto SD speed and it is 5x

the auto sd speed gos up to 30x so 5x is pretty slow

check out the new loader for the dsone/i range its not as card dependent

DSi? But is it compatibile with DS Lite?

TOP

Yes, the new loader (EOS) is compatible with the SuperCard DSOne and SuperCard DSOne-i. The DSOne-i works on both systems as well.

Unfortunately, it didn't help. It's still lagging, the same it was before. :/

In the options (Set SD Speed), it says "1x 2x 3x Fast." Put it on the "Fast" option.

Whoa? 0.0 I just get "1x 2x 3x 4x 5x other" And there is no "fast" under "other".

Aren't you using the new EOS firmware? Are you using the English version?

Setup -> SD Speed -> 1x Speed, 2x Speed, 3x Speed, Fast. That's how the English version is set up, I'm sure it's the same for all EOS's.

According to his answers, it seems that he's still using the old OS since EOS didn't help him.

What kind of card are you using? You mention a 4gb SDHC card, but you don't mention the class.
From what you mention, auto sd speed selected a 5x in the speed, but it doesn't mean that your card isn't fast or anything, actually the program that auto sets the speed has some problems with some brands of memory cards so your card can probably work at a higher speed.
You might want to put it manually to a higher value (selecting other and after changing the value, look for an option that says Save menu settings or something like that).
I usually set my class 6 cards manually to 32, and i guess that if it's class 4 you should try 20 or so.
Also on the rom settings (the dialog that appears when highlighting a rom, pressing X then SetPatch) check that an option that says Search for rom patch or something like that isn't active (it's the last one on the left side). If that one is active it will increase the load times a lot, so it's better to leave it disabled. And Enable patch, patch sd speed, patch saver, enable cheats (if you want them) and enable reset should be active.
