Cannot get working Firmware for Super Card Lite with Super Key

I recently purchase a Super Card Lite to be used with a Super Key (a black case, which is non-SDHC, and downloaded the Super Card Lite Convertor software for games and some recommended firmware. Currently my 4 Gigabyte MicroSD Card has MSFORDS.NDS and a folder called scshell (the root), yet when I insert the MicroSD Card into the Super Card and turn on my DS, the Supercard logo is shown on the bottom screen, while the top screen remains white with a partial (about one fourth) lower section black, and does not change. Do I have the incorrect firmware? Could someone please provide links? I would be very grateful.

Additional note: One time, and only one time, upon running, the same screens were shown but the top screen said something along the lines of "DS file not found. Please turn off GBA".
I have also tried using Supercard SD Kernel v1.62 which was ineffective and another file which at this time I cannot recall, which was described on a forum to "update the firmware and to be removed from the root of the SD Card after one start-up". Have I broken something?

theres your problem you cant use memorycards bigger than 2GB with the sc lite

MSFORDS.NDS and a folder called scshell (the root)

these files are for the dsone/i not the sc lite

Thank you very much for clarifying. So where would I download the appropiate firmware? The Super Card site only appears to offer the conversion software.

why did you buy a slot2 supercard?

Firmware V1.85 (2008.03.18) http://eng.supercard.sc/download/scl_eng_v185.rar

I heard you could play GBA roms as well. It was discounted from a friend. I once had an R4 but it often would freeze in the middle of games, much to my dissatisfaction.

So a few reasons.

EDIT: Double posted, might as well use this to elaborate.
The lastest game I have download is Mario & Luigi 3: Bowser's Inside Story. Are games around and *after* when this was released too new?
Or games around say GTA: Chinatown Wars because of recent anti-piracy measures within the game?

EDIT EDIT: Grammar Error.
Should use this again to thank you for the help you have given me. Thanks very much!

Mario & Luigi 3 isn't working on slot 2 Supercards.
And there are actually many of the new games that aren't working, but not all of them.
It's not really a year thing, since some of the new games might work, the main problem is that there isn't a compatibility list or something simmilar with info on what settings needs a game to work and which games don't work at all.
