You can transfer saves from NSDGBA to TEMPGBA by using the .sav file from NDSGBA on VBA-M then saving the game with
VBA-M is a gameboy advanced emulator for the pc.
The .sav file is located in the folder gamerts inside NDSGBA and has to be transfered to the pc.
The gba rom and .sav have to be in the same place and named exactly the same in order for VBA-M to read it.

Example:  Pokemon Emerald.gba    Pokemon Emerald.sav

Once you use VBA-M and open the rom it will load the save automatically, now all you have to do is save the game in VBA-M.
After you save you can transfer the .sav file to the SAVES folder inside TEMPGBA.
If you want to transfer a saved state you have to load the save state using NDSGBA and save it in the actual game.
Your latest saved state will now be in the .sav file.

How to use cheats:
Download cheats and place them all or just the ones you plan to use in the CHEATS folder which is inside TEMPGBA folder.
You must rename the cheats for them to match the roms.

Example:  Pokemon Emerald.gba   Pokemon Emerald.cht

The roms go in the GAMES folder that's inside the TEMPGBA folder.
Some cheats might not work on TEMPGBA or have the ones you want, so you can use cheats on VBA-M, save the game then transfer the .sav file back.

AR Codes for VBA-M

This guide also works for gb/gbc games.
If you have played gb/gbc games on VBA-M you can transfer the .sav to the DSTWO and play them using lameboy or gameyob.
They require both the rom and save to be in the same place and names exactly the same except for the extensions.
