I have recently completed Golden Sun 1 with little to no issues. However, I started playing GS2:The Lost Age yesterday and it can be very laggy but it is spotty. The lag typically happens during combat and sometimes while running around  but I have had the game freeze on me a few times.

I am running tempGBA 1.45 and have the clock set to 4 and frameskip to 2. I have tried having the clock set to default and the framskip to default but it still happens. I am using a 3dsXL. So far that is the only game I am having issues with but the lag can be very game breaking at times.

Any thoughts?

** Great work guys, up until playing this game, all other games have been flawless. Which, in my experience with many other emulators, is hard to come by.

I use a 3DSXL as well with a 32 GB micro SD card class 10 using the default setting on TempGBA version 1.45 like you but i don't use the default bios instead i download the official GBA bios. Golden Sun 2 works nearly perfect for me hope this helps.

I had not been using the default gba bios. I had already inserted mine on the root of the folder where it should be but I still get some pretty bad lag and sputtering when combat begins. The world map also stutters a bit. Any thoughts?

For TempGBA to work properly the SD card has to be formatted using SD Formatter from this website https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/

Anyone having problems with TempGBA on 7.1.0-15U? No matter what I do, it crashes when I try to launch a .gba ROM. Doesn't seem to matter how I format the card or what BIOS I use. Help!!

Hi, one question about the GBA Bios. Is it recommended to use the original GBA Bios or the Normmatt Bios is enough?

I want to know if there are games that have compatibility issues with Normmatt bios or if  there are not problems,

The sound with Normmatt bios is fine?

Thanks

The original GBA Bios provides better compatibility with certain games.

it needs aspect ratio options. i am using it on ds lite and its got a black border so it could zoom in more. is there anyway for a cheat database file for all gba games. i tried the gba cheats on my roms which im pretty sure are (u) roms and i get guru expedition error.

edit: oh just read about the full screen problem and it cant be done. all good.

edit: legacy of goku ii isnt working for me. some one mentioned a patch for it. cant find it though.

i been trying to work wit the cheats that came in the database  but of 10 tries 7 give me the guru error the best way to put cheats its to copy your save to the pc and put the cheats that you want and then transfer them to your supercard works great, already did it with Fire emblem Sealed Sword
