A GBA bios helps with game compatibility even more. Sure you can play a game without it on PC, but with a bios you'll find that the games run better. I don't know how, but I think it's because the bios has some initilizer command or possibly has all the information pertaining to the GBA CPU, and such allows the emulator to better interpret the games. Seriously, I have no idea and am making a few guesses, but ultimately a bios has really helped out when playing gba games on my pc. Better than emulating the bios as well. |
