I know about the R4 problems, actually my sister owns one, but she doesn't play a lot lately so i haven't needed to look for firmware alternatives for the card.
And getting a higher capacity card is a good idea, specially if you hate switching between a lot of cards like me. Also they tend to be pretty cheap and you can always use them for other things.

That's what I plan to do, because I get tired of deleting unplayed games for newer games.

Yasu is a baby. People outside of Japan haven't received an update in a year.

I followed your instructions and I have formatted my 4GB sdhc card kingston 4 and at a first moment all seems to work but then I have again the same problems infact some games continuing stop at some points. I have also a 2GB mini card and with it I have no problems!! do you think is a problem of my 4gb card? what I can do again? thank you for your attention and I hope you can help me!
P.S. sorry for my poor English!

Have You checked various SD speed settings? Because it didn't work for me perfectly just after formatting, but I changed SD speed to 20x and it's normal/almost normal (but at least I don't see any particular lags myself).

yes, I set SD speed on 20...in the circle of my card there is 4...I do all things suggested here and I don't understand why it works with some games and instead with others it stops...I have formatted it many times but nothings... have you  finally solved completely?
are there other things that I can try to do?

Not sure if this will help, but if you are getting problems with games when the speed is set at 20, you should try changing the values to see which one works better with your card.
It's not really a definite value, since it depends on a lot of things.
I remember reading that if your card is set to a value that is too high for it you might start having problems with games (when loading them, or even when playing) tough i'm not completely sure if this is true.
Also, not sure if you already did it, but you should update some of the files on your card, particularly, ndspatch and ndsinfo files, that can be found here:
ndsinfo: http://forum.supercard.sc/viewth ... p;highlight=ndsinfo
ndspatch: http://forum.supercard.sc/thread-4979-1-1.html
And finally check that you are using the correct OS version for your card. There are versions of the OS for DS One, DS One SDHC and DS One i, and using the incorrect one can lead to problems when loading the games.
The files can be found here: http://eng.supercard.sc/download.htm

thank you for your reply..but unfortunately I already did all things..speed value was at first set slow and it didn't work as now.. for the other things..I use the same things as for the 2 GB card and it works fine!
I don't know what to do again... perhaps maybe a defective card? but if it this I don't understand why it works with some game and with other stops...when I formatted it then for some games  it works but then it stopped again with others

no answer??
however I have other news..bad news... I have bought another card...a Sandisk micro sdhc 4GB class 2 made in China..I have tried it and I have the same problem!!! I couldn't believe that!!! :S
I'm starting to think that I have a defecitve Supercard :S
